Merrich Estate Olive Farm and Mediterranean Kitchen

Merrich Olive farm specialises in olive oil appreciation and are producers of award winning extra virgin olive oil and table olives. Dukah, tapenade, MSG free spice kanse, olive leaf extract and olive bowls.

The restaurant is - Mediterranean kitchen and cottage, "Thyme and Again." It's a stylish country restaurant which specialises in wood fired cuisine and meze platters.

Spirit of the West

Spirit of the West is an exciting way to view Western Australia's spectacular scenery, while enjoying a delicious five course meal. You will be transported back in time to rail travel's golden age. Spirit of the West is a fine dining restaurant train, devoted to providing you with the finest food, wine and service.

Upon boarding at East Perth Terminal you will take a stroll up the red carpet. A glass of champagne and a friendly face will be waiting for you, and one of our staff will escort you to your seat. Now is the time to sit back and enjoy your three and a half hour journey filled with wonderful delights.

Throughout your journey you will be treated to a five course meal, which consists of an appetiser, a choice of entree, main and dessert, followed by a cheese board. Included with your meal is a selection of Jane Brook wines, beer and soft drink. Premium wines and spirits can be purchased if required. Following your delicious meal you will be served tea or coffee with a special chocolate train.

Journey to the Avon Valley! The "Avon Valley Evening Indulgence" - Saturday evenings or The "Avon Experience" - Sunday afternoons. Giving you a taste of some of Western Australia's prettiest countryside as Spirit of the West follows the Avon River through the green landscapes and colourful bushranger legends of the Avon Valley. The Avon Experience journey takes three and a half hours.

Train departs 1930 on Saturday evenings and 1230 Sunday afternoons. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure.
