PICK DINNER FROM OUR VEGE GARDEN. Fresh and organically grown. The vege garden is a lovely place to explore and be inspired to cook something seasonal. Always plenty of lettuce, silverbeet and herbs growing. Many other seasonal heritage vegetables also grown available if we have surplus. Combined with Burnside farm fresh eggs (also avocados and olive oil for sale in season) and you can enjoy a meal without leaving the property. Quiet location surrounded by National Park and dairy farms but only 10 minutes to town and 15 minutes to beautiful beaches and world renown wineries. The highly productive farm allows Lara, Jamie and their family to be almost fully self-sufficient with excess being sold locally and at the fortnightly farmers market. They have a very large netted fruit orchard with over 120 trees. The entire property has been designed on permaculture principles and is certified Biodynamic . Cows, sheep, pigs, chickens and geese graze under the crops.
With only four luxurious, contemporary, Margaret River style, bungalows you can enjoy a romantic getaway or use the property for a base to explore the area. Suitable for couples, small groups and families. The bungalows are made from natural materials, North facing with verandahs and have cosy wood fires (for winter only), with contemporary quality fittings and modern kitchens. All the bungalows have lovely natural views over native gardens, remnant bush and the olive grove or vineyard.
Enjoy watching the kangaroos come out to feed each night. Enjoy bush walks in the adjoining National Park, walk the 1.7km farm trail around the property or go for a bike ride. on the adjoining "Rails To Trails" track . |

Choose from a Luxury Rammed Earth Spa Bungalow (indoor spa) for couples, or a Limestone Bungalow, for small groups and families, sleeping two to six people (one has a spa bath on the deck outside). The Limestone Bungalow has been recently renovated with a new kitchen. All bungalows now have dishwashers.
BREAKFAST BASKETS $75 Full of local and organic food. Including; our extra virgin olive oil, organic Australian coffee, farm eggs, free range bacon, local butter, organic milk, museli, jams, homemade biodynamic flour bread and more. Directions: From Cowaramup travel 3km south along Bussell Highway turn right into Burnside Rd and then travel 2.5km down Burnside Rd. Ignore the post box numbers just look out for our easy to see signs. Turn left and come all the way down the drive to the main house.

If coming from Margaret River it is easier to take Carters Rd, it is left off Bussell Hwy, travel 5km down Carters and turn right into Burnside. |

AUTUMN ORGANIC PRODUCE UPDATE - Guests are welcome to complimentary eggs on arrival. Our eggs are exclusively available at Station Rd Greengrocers in the organic section. The vege garden has lots chinese vegetables, lettuce, silverbeet and herbs. Beetroot, radish, carrots all growing. Lots of end of summer basil.

2010 ZINFANDEL VINTAGE
We picked and made our fifth vintage in March 2010. The fruit ripened beautifully in the hot and dry conditions.
We make our wine using traditional methods with open fermenters, hand plunging the must and basket pressing after fermentation. The wine is then aged with American oak.
2006 "THREE BOYS" certified biodynamic available now. Would you like a bottle waiting in your bungalow on arrival? $20/bottle or $115/case of 6. $25 postage anywhere in Australia. Perth $20.
Drinking beautifully. Rich dark fruits, bordering fruit cake, hint of chocolate, acid well balanced, good amount of oak for complexity adding savoury thyme characters. The palate is rich with the aromas. Good length.
. WHATS NEW AT THE FARM & BUNGALOWS See our 3 pigs. They are very cute and love attention. Farm Walk Trail - Is completed, allowing guests to see our whole property via the 1.7 km track. The track takes in remnant forest, the vineyard, ancient marri trees, shady peppermint trees, the olive grove, the avocado orchard, many revegetated areas and vistas to the National Park. COMPLIMENTARY FARM TOUR for guests. Please ask on arrival. We like to do morning tours, takes about 1 hour. NEW MOUNTAIN BIKES.
Perfect to ride to Margaret River town (9.5km) or Cowaramup (6.5km) along the rails to trails.
Bird life is amazing with red winged wrens, robins, thornbills, red eared fire tail finches and golden whistlers.

Cancellation Policy / Terms & Conditions
PAYMENT Total payment is due upon booking. Sometimes we will allow a deposit if the booking is a long time ahead.
CANCELLATIONS - PLEASE BOOK CAREFULLY. We are a small business with only four bungalows. Your booking means we are holding the bungalow especially for you.
Cancellations will only be accepted if made more than a month before staying and a $100 cancellation fee will apply.
If you change your mind and decide not to stay or choose to cut your stay short a 100% cancellation fee applies.
wish to alter this time please ask in advance. Being small we have to be very organised for the cleaning for the next guests check in. Late check outs are not available unless organised in advance.
CLEANING Guests are expected to leave the bungalow clean and tidy. If the bungalow is not left in a clean state you will be billed for the extra time required for cleaning.
BREAKAGES & MISSING ITEMS will be paid for.
